I've used these clamps for a couple of years now and they work well, although they do not adjust as easily along the bar as my Bessey parallel clamps. The jaws also need a little sanding to make them truly parallel, else they will cause marks on your wood from all the pressure being applied on the outside edges. I purchased this set in 2008 for half the price it now sells for, so if your going to pay retail for these clamps your better off getting the Besseys, which you won't have to tune up or struggle to adjust.
Have boughten this product and now one of the 24" clamps will not tighten. You may screw it in but will not tighten. Does any one know how to fix this. Bought in 2007 as far as I remember.
These clamps are invaluable for any cabinet work. I am using them to build base cabinets and an island for my kitchen. I have numerous other clamps but these are by far the best.
I don't think there's better clamps than these in the market.Sturdy, well designed, good jaw size.A little pricey, but worth it.
Clamping up a project correctly is far more satisfying and the results are outstanding (parallel pressure is awesome). But. I was hesitant to pay a lot of money for clamps. The heads of these clamps are huge, which makes them extremely useful. you can never have too many clamps and it's not like competitors offerings are much cheaper. Ultimately these are worth the money. Yes they are heavy but that's a desirable trait. WAX THEM BEFORE GLUING ON THEM.
